Fundació 1859 Caixa Sabadell was created on May 23rd, 2013 to adapt to and respond to a new social reality, setting new milestones based on a new project, with the will to manage the funds of the social work of the former Caixa d'Estalvis de Sabadell.

The Foundation develops an activity, characterised by diversity and complementarity in the social, cultural, educational, civic and environmental promotion areas, directly or through collaboration with other entities and institutions, with the aim of actively participating in the social and cultural life of the territory.

In the Espai Cultura and the Espai Natura, the foundation's main facilities, it offers stable programming of plastic arts, performing arts, educational workshops and environmental events, among other actions, with innovative content and formats that, under this diverse, unique and quality offer, brings together diverse and huge audiences.mes.
